On Saturday, Le’Veon Bell, on a series of tweet, stated his apology to Andy Reid, Kansas City former chief, for making remarks about him. So, Le’Veon Bell apology to Andy Reid became a breaking news of the weekend.
He said in his tweets that he regrets airing such thoughts on such a social platform, but the player does not regret what he said.
Moreover, on Sunday night, the offensive tweeted out his emotions stating that he realizes that some things he could and should have kept to himself and apologize for what he has done. But this does not mean he regrets saying what he thought because that is what he feels.
Bell also added that he said what he felt, and if anyone has a personal problem because of what he said, it’s fine because everyone has the right to feel. Likewise, others should also try and understand that he (Bell) also has the right to feel his own personal problems because of what the former chief said to him.
The controversy first began when Bell commented on an Instagram post that he would never be playing for Andy Reid again, rather he would retire. The since-deleted comment went out like wildfire and gained attention all over media and former teammates.
Bell also tweeted that he is not going into the depth of why the player thinks the way he does, but he has the right to feel that way. So, the only thing he wants to change is commenting how he felt truly on a social platform.
Also, he does not care whether people hate him or love him because he will be fine anyways. Here, he is just giving a small version of his point of view of why he said what he said.
The player also shared that he played a total of nine games for the chiefs in 2020. The 29-year-old is a free agent, and earlier, he stated that he enjoyed his stay in Kansas City. But apparently, the player is not a big fan of the former coach.
In fact, Bell mentioned in his tweet that he never said that he didn’t enjoy his time in KC because he loved spending the time. Also, he loved the locker room situation full of players. Further, he said that he enjoyed his teammate, food, city, fans, and everything about KC.
Bell also carried the ball sixty-three times for 254 yards and two touchdowns. In addition, he caught 13 passes for 99 yards with the chiefs.
However, his role diminished later in the campaign, and he also did not play in both the AFC championship game and the Super Bowl LV.
He also told everyone that his contract with the chiefs expired last season in the end, and he still did not resign for any other game.
Le’Veon Bell first began his gameplay last season with the New York Jets before landing in Kansas City. Moreover, with New York, he appeared in only two games, with nineteen carries and 74 yards on the ground.
