Trevor Lawrence pro Day consequences

Trevor Lawrence smiled at the close of his Pro Day workout. When asked about Urban Mayer who is a Jaguars coach, Lawrence answered on ESPN that he is well aware of his presence and also gave him a quick wave as it was impossible to talk to him physically. 

It seems the information was clear even in the absence of clear verbal communication. 

Jacksonville possesses the no.1 total selection of the 2021 NFL draft. He was the one who employed Meyer out of retirement last month. Clemson was a freshman in 2018 when he was a national champion who was led by a 2020 Heisman finalist, Trevor Lawrence.

He is prepping up for surgery on his left shoulder instead of joining Clemson’s pro match day on March 11th. Because of the restrictions of the pandemic situation, the NFL Scouting Combine has been cancelled this year. Lawrence gained a complete clearance within four to six months after he assured that he can throw after six to eight months of surgery. 

As the NFL 2021 was delayed by seven weeks, Trevor Lawrence took full advantage of this important time gap. He got training in California from quarterbacks coach Jordan Palmer for about a week besides getting his Pro Day workout for a month. He returned back to South Carolina to practice his routes and timings with receivers which includes Cornell Powell from Clemson as well. 

Clemson got dressed in a Clemson t-shirt with the colour purple, and orange nameplate with his number 16 ironed beneath the shoulder blades. From Slants to deep throws along with dropbacks and unfamiliar pressure on his face, a wide range of throws took place one after the another. 

Lawrence went through a difficult play but did not give up whereas extended the play to display his talent to throw on the run down the field. Lawrence wasn’t bothered or embarrassed as his coach, Dabo Swinney checked him from a distance along with Meyer where both were engaged in a lively and energetic conversation.
