He had played across generations and started his career in the sport wearing a simple white shirt that can be worn as a school uniform. But he is the same man who scored the last test hundred of his life wearing a jersey from Nike, that is impossible for many to buy and that would be later sent for auction for millions.

His initiation

Sachin was then eleven years old. Since then he followed the schedule of Eat, Sleep and Cricket.

He changed schools, trained himself much harder, played thousands of matches and became what he is today. Within a very short period, he became a vital part of the Mumbai team and made his debut. His ability to pile on the runs made his place on the Indian team a couple of years later.

A world cup veteran

The career of the legend of Indian cricket spanned over six world cup appearances that starts from 1992 to 2011. He made his appearances twice in the final- 2003 to 2011. According to Virat Kohli, the captain of India, Sachin Tendulkar has carried the burden for a span of twenty-one years and now it’s time for the team to carry the legend on the shoulders. He said these words for his idol when Sachin Tendulkar got his hands on the trophy that was long-awaited.

In a nutshell

He was a complete batsman of his own generation who had a combination of natural talent and also hard work and dedication. He recognized the vitality of shaping as well as polishing the diamond. The uncommon mixture of ability and dedication made him unique among the crowd. This made him what he is today- A True Legend, The God of Cricket and most importantly Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. He is also considered as the only factor that made cricket so famous in India and also made every Indian love the sport. Due to this fact, the Indian Cricket Board became the most powerful as well as the richest in world cricket.
