The super league on the way to connect twelve major European clubs

Although the twelve of Europe’s biggest clubs have been threatened with an international ban for them as well as their players, on Monday, they declared that they are planning to introduce a breakaway super league. As reported by a statement of the group, arsenal, ac Milan, Chelsea, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Liverpool, inter Milan, TottenhamHotspur, and Real Madrid have all united as founding clubs. The founding club will receive the order of 3.5 billion euros as a one-time payment.

The organizers said that the three supplementary clubs would be summoned to join them before the beginning of the opening season, which is expected to commence as soon as possible.

The international deportation of the players of the 12 clubs has been expressed as a cynical project which is launched voluntarily by the few clubs as reported by the UEFA in the earlier Sunday. Nevertheless, the 12 clubs made a stand by saying that the competition is an advantage to the overall game.

Joel Glazer, who is the vice-chairman of the super league and the co-chairman of Manchester United, said that the super league would unlock a new chapter for European football as they will unite the world’s most powerful clubs and their players to play each other throughout the whole season. It will guarantee standardized facilities and competition as well as lead to the advancement of financial support for the broader aspect of the football pyramid.

The present income generated by the UEFA for its club rivals such as the Europa League, champion league and European super cup is 3.2 billion euros in TV revenues in 2018-2019. The revenue generated by the super league consisting of 12 clubs will be a figure of 3.5 billion euros that is greater than the current revenue by UEFA.  As reported by a promoter, the super league would set off in the kind of a uniform season between 20 clubs. With the assistance of an arrangement depending on the players’ performance from the previous season, the 15 founders will automatically become eligible to play each year. In contrast, the other five clubs will be taken out of the invitation.
