Sarita Mor devised a remarkable return by lurching off nine points straight in the clash of the summit to restore her Asian championship title in 59 kg. In contrast, Pooja and Seema Bisla settled for bronze with 76 kg and 50 kg, respectively. Sarita managed to grab the gold medal in New Delhi at the championship of 2020. He drew 1-7 before a messed-up challenge but fought back exceptionally against Shoovdor Baatarjav from Mongolia.

Sarita’s rival managed to get one pint as Sarita lost balance while trying to attempt a move at 1-3 on the margin of the mat. Nevertheless, Mongolia’s coach threw a challenge to grab 4 points by her team, which made it impossible to stop Sarita from going forward.

She executed a take-down along with an expose, and another take-down on the boundary of the circle o lead the score to 7-7. At that point, when there was a lack of time, a call was challenged by the Mongolian camp, which was lost, which could render Sarita an extra point, but she won by 10-7. Sarita reported to the PTI that it was challenging to play with a 2018 World Championship bronze medalist, but he did her part in preparing herself for the Mongolian game. She couldn’t win in the first session, but he won in the finals by planning and executing the plan.

Sarita did not agree when asked if it is comfortable to achieve 59 kgs as she is not up to mark in getting results in 57 kgs which is a category in Olympics. She declined the comment saying that he is doing well in 57 kgs. The event of recent ranking series in 57 kgs rendered her with a silver medal. She feels that she could have done better in the Olympics, where she was unfortunate enough not to succeed in the 57 kg Olympic trials. However, she feels that she is athletic in both categories.

Sarita couldn’t win her introductory session against the Mongolians by a margin of 4-5 but returned to the field in the following round, which was against Diana Kayumova of Kazakhstan and won by technical advantage in the first half.

Sarita is acrobatic and hostile, whereas Kazhah had a good reach with its lean and thin physic. Following an inactive display of performance, Sarita busted with moves, opening with a take-down and further proceeding with exposing and alarming moves.

Sarita showed her hostile display of performance in the match against Nuraida Anarkulova from Kyrgyzstan in the semifinal.  She completed the match in a very short time with her quick, explosive moves as soon as he got hold of her rival.

Seema had an awful opening in the 50 kg competition. She lost her opening session playing against Kazakhstan’s Valentina Ivanovna but returned in the consecutive round and displayed a strong performance against Mongolia’s Anudari Nandintsetseg. Seema arrived into action with a take-down and passivity points with a score of 0-2. She eventually won by scoring 7-3 by giving an alarming performance.
